The Greater Whitsunday region welcomes 3.3 million visitors each year.

Mackay Isaac Tourism is the marketing and destination development organisation for Mackay and Isaac and are supported by Mackay Regional Council, Isaac Regional Council, Mackay Airport and Tourism and Events Queensland.

Tourism Whitsundays.

Tourism Whitsundays is the organisation responsible for destination marketing and visitor attraction for the Whitsunday region. It is the lead agency recognised by Tourism and Events Queensland and the Whitsunday Regional Council to lead the promotion of the region as a tourism destination.

Post-pandemic, Tourism Whitsunday has been focused on recovery and is working closely with both the State and Federal Governments to support the regional tourism sector.
